Secure infrastructure and resilience
Pairaphrase is hosted on AWS-managed infrastructure with high-availability and disaster-recovery protocols. Customers may request region-specific data residency requirements.
Encryption and secure processing
Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Files and database records are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
Identity and access management
Use MFA, SAML-based SSO, RBAC and granular permissions to limit platform and file access to authorized users.
Audit logging
User actions are logged to support activity visibility, traceability and security review across translation workflows.
Secure software development
Code is peer-reviewed and tested before deployment, with strict separation between development, staging and production environments.
Security testing
Pairaphrase conducts internal and third-party vulnerability scanning and penetration testing across its application and infrastructure.
Monitoring and incident response
Pairaphrase continuously monitors for anomalies, performance issues and potential security incidents and maintains a documented, regularly tested incident response plan.
How Pairaphrase protects translation content
Pairaphrase protects uploaded content through encryption, controlled processing, user-managed deletion and internal confidentiality controls.
No data selling or indexing
Pairaphrase does not index, share or sell uploaded files or translation content.
No plaintext storage
Files and content are not stored in plaintext. Pairaphrase uses encrypted temporary caches when content must be processed.
User-managed deletion
Users can delete uploaded documents, translations and Translation memories when they are no longer needed.
Confidential internal access
Employees and contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements and access only the data necessary to perform their roles.
Private translation assets
