His work focuses on making multilingual communication more accurate, efficient, and accessible through AI-driven translation solutions, practical innovation, and a strong emphasis on usability, quality, and security.

Beyond Pairaphrase, Rick has contributed to the broader translation industry through his leadership in translation quality standards. He chaired the SAE committee behind the J2450 Translation Quality Metric, a widely recognized framework for evaluating translation quality. His expertise spans AI in language translation, multilingual workflows, translation standards, and the development of tools that help businesses scale global communication with confidence.
