About speaker Florencia Russo
Florencia Russo (Flor) is a certified Spanish-English translator and translation technology specialist who helps organizations and language professionals improve translation quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency through the effective use of AI-powered translation tools and digital resources.
A graduate of the National University of La Plata, Argentina, Flor specializes in technical translation, localization, and multilingual communication for the automotive, oil and gas, and technology sectors. Her passion for language technology began at age 15 when she built her first computer-assisted dictionary using a Compaq Deskpro 386 and basic programming, combining her interests in translation, terminology management, and innovation.

Since 2017, Flor has delivered workshops and training programs on translation technology, AI for translators, machine translation, and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools for local and international audiences. She served for three years as President and currently serves as Vice President of the Association of Certified Translators of La Plata, where she teaches a comprehensive course on technology, AI, and digital transformation in translation workflows.
Through her work, Flor helps translators, localization teams, and multilingual organizations leverage AI, automation, and language technology to produce more accurate translations, reduce manual effort, and improve collaboration across global communication projects.
